Fuel Injectors: Removal

  1. Release fuel system pressure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect electrical connectors at injectors. Remove bolts securing fuel rail to intake manifold. If necessary, disconnect pressure regulator vacuum line.
  2. Loosen hose clamps at injectors. Pull up on fuel rail to remove it from injectors. Remove screws securing injectors to cylinder head. Remove injectors from cylinder head.
