Air Injection System - Federal 4WD Models

Secondary (fresh) air, from the air cleaner, is supplied to both exhaust ports. Air is drawn from the air cleaner, passes through silencers and during negative exhaust pulsations, is drawn into the exhaust ports through ASV's. This system is continual during engine operation.
