Fuel INJ System - SPFI: Description

Subaru vehicles equipped with Single Point Fuel Injection (SPFI) have an on-board computer that controls both fuel and ignition. It electronically controls the amount of fuel injected by monitoring the exhaust gases with an oxygen sensor.
