Airflow Meter

The SPFI system employs a hot-wire type airflow meter. This airflow meter converts the amount of air taken into the engine into an electric signal by utilizing the heat transfer phenomenon between incoming air and heating resistor (hot wire) located in air intake. Altitude compensation is made automatically. This unit is compact, provides quick response and has no moving parts.
