Fuel Pump Circuit
- Turn ignition on. Fuel pump should operate for 1.5 seconds. Start engine and check for pump operation. If no operation, check for voltage from pump relay at Blue wire on pump.
- If voltage is not present, check relay operation. If voltage is present, check ground wire back to ECU. Check ECU terminal No. 55 for voltage. If not present, replace ECU.
- If voltage was present at ECU, check wiring and pump. If pump operates and engine will not start, check fusible links, injectors, injector resistors, coolant temperature sensor and TPS. If engine will still not start, check power and grounds to ECU. If okay, replace ECU.
