Ignition System
The ignition system is composed of battery, ignition coil, distributor, spark plugs, knock sensor, MPFI control unit and spark plug wires. A crank angle sensor is built into distributor and detects crank position. Electronic signal is transmitted to control unit. The control unit calculates spark advance angle and determines spark timing signal. The spark timing signal, determined by the control unit, is transmitted to the power transistor where it makes the primary circuit to ignition coil. High voltage is then generated in the secondary circuit.
