System Diagnosis: Notes

EFC system requires specific procedures to determine if driveability malfunction is EFC system related. Use the tables to isolate malfunction:

Test connections in the NO TROUBLE/ENGINE ON table and TROUBLE/ENGINE ON table are identical. Depending on the operational status of the system being tested, results will be displayed in either the NO TROUBLE/ENGINE ON or TROUBLE/ENGINE ON table.

Test connections in the NO TROUBLE/ENGINE OFF IGNITION ON and TROUBLE/ENGINE OFF IGNITION ON tables are identical. Depending on the operational status of the system being tested, results will be displayed in either the NO TROUBLE/ENGINE OFF IGNITION ON or TROUBLE/ENGINE OFF IGNITION ON table.
