Load Test
- Using proper starter bench tester, apply 3.5 ft. lbs. (4.7 N.m) load to starter. Engage tester switch for less than 30 seconds. Note and record voltage drop and current draw.
- Voltage should not fall below 8 volts. Current draw should be less that 200 amps. Starter should spin at 1200 RPM or more.
