Power Circuits (Ignition Cranking)
- Connect DVOM between ground and control unit terminal. See the CONTROL UNIT POWER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION
table. Turn ignition switch to START position. Battery voltage should be present between control unit terminal and ground, ONLY when ignition switch is in START position.
- If voltage is not present, check fusible link. If fusible link is okay, check for an open wire between fusible link and control unit terminal, or check for a defective ignition switch.
