Throttle Position (TP) Sensor & Switch

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR RESISTANCE

Application (1) TP Connector Wire Color Ohms
Total Resistance Black Wire & Red Wire 3500-6500
Variable Resistance
Throttle Closed Black Wire & Green Wire 1000 Or Less
Throttle Open Black Wire & Red Wire 2400 Or More
(1) Unplug TP sensor connector. At component side of connector, connect ohmmeter between the indicated terminals.
THROTTLE SWITCH (IDLE SWITCH) CONTINUITY

Application (1) Terminals
Loyale Light Green Wire & Black Wire
(1) Unplug TP sensor connector. Check for continuity between specified terminals of connector. There should be continuity with throttle closed, and no continuity with throttle open.
