DTC P0600 - Serial Communication Link Malfunction

NOTE: Refer to illustration for connector and terminal identification. See Figure -Figure .

Turn ignition to OFF. Disconnect connector from ECM. Measure resistance of harness between ECM connector B84, terminal No. 41 and data link connector B40, terminal No. 10. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair open in harness between ECM connector and data link connector. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, measure resistance between ECM harness connector B84, terminal No. 41 and ground. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, repair short in harness between ECM connector and data link connector. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair contact in ECM connector and data link connector.
