ISSUE & TIP
We have seen several blower motor problems on high mileage Subaru Legacy models, including heater resistor burnouts. In many cases, this is caused by an accumulation of water and debris at the blower inlet. Removal and a thorough cleaning has worked for us in all cases preventing needless replacement of the blower motor.
