DTC P0123 (THV_Hi): TP Sensor Circuit Low Input
- Turn ignition off. Connect SSM. Start engine. Set SSM function mode to F07 to check TP sensor output signal. If displayed voltage is 4.9 volts or less, system is normal. Check for poor contact in connectors and intermittent open in wiring. If displayed voltage is 4.9 volts or more, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect TP sensor connector. Check resistance between TP sensor connector terminal No. 1 and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair connections or wiring.
- Turn ignition on. Check voltage at TP sensor connector terminal No. 2. If voltage reading is 4.9 volts or more, repair short in wiring. If voltage reading is less than 4.9 volts, replace TP sensor.
