Wheel Speed Sensor Air Gap

  1. Raise vehicle, and remove wheels. Measure air gap between wheel speed sensor, located at rear of disc rotor, and each tooth of tone wheels. Tone wheels have 44 teeth. Check front and rear wheel speed sensor air gap. See WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AIR GAP SPECIFICATION  table.
  2. If gap is too small, use Spacer (26755AA000) to increase gap to specification. If gap exceeds specification, remove spacer(s) and replace tone wheel or faulty wheel speed sensor.

(1) Maximum hub/tone wheel runout is .002" (.05 mm).
