MT Gear Shift Lever: Inspection

- Check each part (bush A, cushion rubber, spacer, boot, stay and rod, etc.) for deformation, damage and wear. Repair or replace any defective part. Determine defective parts by comparing with new parts.
- Check the swing torque of the rod in relation of the gear shift lever.
If the torque exceeds the specification, replace bushing or retighten nuts.
Rocking torque:
- 0.7 N.m (0.07 kgf-m, 0.5 ft-lb) or less
