FHI engineering and our A/C manufacturing vendors do not support the use of dyes to diagnose an A/C refrigerant leak. Use of such dyes can affect the performance of the system. We encourage the use of a good leak detector for R-134-A refrigerant to accurately pinpoint a leak.
