Just remember that after the 2009 Model Year, all teaching codes will be 3781. For immobilizer-equipped Impreza and Forester models prior to 2009MY, use 3178. Also, when registering the keys, always remember to answer NO when the SSMIII asks about "Smart Key". U.S. market Subaru vehicles do not offer this feature.
