Test 9: Checking Security Control Module

  1. Check that security control module is securely fastened to its mountings. Secure as needed and go to next step.
  2. Remove security module. See SECURITY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove plug on module housing and adjust sensitivity. Install security module. Turning screw clockwise increases sensitivity and turning counterclockwise decreases sensitivity. Install security module. Close liftgate and all windows. Arm system. Hit center of windshield with palm of hand. If horn chirps, test is complete. If horn does not chirp, readjust sensitivity setting.
