Trouble Shooting: Notes

  1. Turn ignition switch to ACC or IGN position. Check power mirror fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If fuse is okay, turn ignition switch off. Remove power window switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect switch harness connector. Turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position. Check voltage at switch harness connector terminal No. 4. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  . See Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition off. Check resistance between ground and switch harness connector terminal No. 2 (ground). See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  . If resistance is 10 ohms or greater, repair open in Black wire. If resistance is not 10 ohms or greater, go to COMPONENT TESTS  .
