Legacy & Outback

  1. Remove power window relay. Check continuity between relay terminals. See Fig 2 . Continuity should be present between terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should not be present between terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should now be present between terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity is as specified, relay is okay at this time. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window relay.
