Rear Window Defogger Switch: Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  2. Check continuity between terminals on the wire harness side with connectors connected.
    1. Connector & terminal:  (i18) No. 6 (+) - No. 8 (-):

    IGN SW Switch position Terminal No. Standard
    ON OFF (i18) 6 and (M8) 8 10V-14V
