Power Window Relay Test

  1. Remove power window relay. Check continuity between relay terminals. See Figure . Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should now exist between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is as specified, relay is okay at this time. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window relay.
