Rear ABS Sensor: Installation

  1. Temporarily install rear ABS sensor on back plate.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to strike ABS sensor's pole piece and tone wheel's teeth against adjacent metal parts during installation.

  2. Install rear sensor harness on rear trailing link.

    Tightening torque: 

    1. 32 N.m (3.3 kgf-m, 24 ft-lb)

  3. Place a thickness gauge between ABS sensor's pole piece and tone wheel's tooth face. After standard clearance is obtained over the entire perimeter, tighten ABS sensor on back plate to specified torque.

    ABS sensor standard clearance: 

    1. 0.7 - 1.2 mm (0.028 - 0.047 in) 

    Tightening torque: 

    1. 32 N.m (3.3 kgf-m, 24 ft-lb) 
    CAUTION: Check the marks on the harness to make sure that no distortion exists.
    MARKS SPECIFICATIONS

    - LH RH
    Mark Blue Pink
    NOTE: If the clearance is outside specifications, adjust the gap using spacer (Part No. 26755AA000).
  4. Connect rear ABS sensor connector.
  5. Install rear seat.
  6. Install wheels.
  7. Connect battery ground cable.
