Draining & Refilling: Transaxle
- Allow engine to cool for 3-4 hours. Raise and support vehicle. Remove drain plug. Drain transmission fluid into proper container. If cleaning oil screen, remove oil pan. Apply an even bead of Liquid Gasket (1217B) when reassembling. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Fill transaxle with fluid. Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature. Shift gear selector through all positions, ending in Park. Check fluid level with engine idling. Add fluid as necessary. DO NOT overfill.
