AT Shift Lock Solenoid and "P" Position Switch: Removal

Disconnect battery ground cable.
Remove the console box. Refer to REMOVAL under CONSOLE BOX .
Disconnect the connector.
Remove indicator light.
NOTE: Be careful not to break the indicator light during removal.

Remove the clip.

Remove button A.
Remove the screws from the select lever grip.
Remove retainer spring, then pull up select lever grip with indicator cover for holding select lever button.
CAUTION: Pull the select lever grip carefully so that the select lever button may not jump out.
