ECM Relearn

After disconnecting battery or replacing ECM, turn ignition on and wait 3 seconds before starting vehicle. This 3-second delay allows the Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid valve to initialize. Drive vehicle to enable ECM to relearn driveability. Inform your customer that they may experience driveability patterns different from what they are accustomed to until ECM completes relearn function.
