Customers driving 2003MY vehicles may complain about the range of their system or that it works intermittently. This may be related to external electrical interference. This condition may be improved by replacing the older module with the newer/improved module, which was introduced in 2004. The replacement matrix is shown.

While this will improve range in most situations, everyone needs to understand that keyless entry operates on radio frequencies that are regularly affected by various outside influences. Installation of a new module may not necessarily improve range in all situations.
