Select Cable: Installation

Install the select cable to base plate.
1. Tightening torque: 18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft-lb)
Install the select cable to range select lever.
Install the plate assembly to transmission.
1. Tightening torque: T: 24.5 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-lb)

Install the washer and snap pin to range select lever.

Move the select lever to "N" position, then adjust the select cable position. Refer to ADJUSTMENT , Select Cable.
Install the heat shield cover. (If equipped)
Install the front and center exhaust pipe. (Non-TURBO model)
Except 2.5 L U5 model

2.5 L U5 model

Refer to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe.

3.0 L model

Refer to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe.
Install center exhaust pipe. (TURBO model) < Refer to INSTALLATION , Center Exhaust Pipe.
