Transmission Control Device: Installation

Install detention spring to transmission case.
1. Tightening torque: 6 N.m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.4 ft-lb)

Insert range select lever, and tighten bolt.
1. Tightening torque: 6 N.m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.4 ft-lb)

Insert manual plate and parking rod.

Insert spring pin to manual plate.

Install control valve assembly and oil pan. < Ref. to B: INSTALLATION . >
Turn over the transmission case to its original position.
Install pitching stopper bracket.
1. Tightening torque: 41 N.m (4.2 kgf-m, 30.4 ft-lb)
Install inhibitor switch and adjust the inhibitor switch. < Ref. to 13. INHIBITOR SWITCH . >
Insert inhibitor switch and transmission connector into stay.

Install air breather hose. < Ref. to B: INSTALLATION . >
Insert the input shaft while turning lightly by hand and verify the protrusion amount.
1. Normal protrusion A: 50 - 55 mm (1.97 - 2.17 in)

Install the torque converter clutch assembly. < Ref. to INSTALLATION . >
Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle. < Ref. to INSTALLATION . >
