Intake Manifold: Installation

Install the intake manifold onto cylinder heads.
NOTE: Use a new gasket.

Tightening torque:

25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-lb)

Connect the fuel hoses to fuel pipe.
NOTE: If fuel hoses are damaged, replace them with new ones.

Install the EGR pipe to intake manifold.
Tightening torque:

34 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.6 ft-lb)

Connect the connector to camshaft position sensor.

Connect the connector to power steering pump switch.
Connect the connector to oil pressure switch (A).

Connect the connector to crankshaft position sensor.

Connect the knock sensor connector.

Connect the connectors to engine coolant temperature sensor.

Connect the PCV hose (A) to intake manifold.
Connect the engine harness connectors (B) to bulkhead harness connectors.

Connect the brake booster hose (A).

Connect the engine coolant hoses (A) to throttle body.

Connect the spark plug cords to spark plugs.
Install the power steering pump and reservoir tank to bracket.
1. Install the reservoir tank to bracket.

2. Connect the connector (A) to the power steering pump switch.

3. Tighten the bolts which install power steering pump bracket.
  Tightening torque:
  
  22 N.m (2.2 kgf-m, 15.9 ft-lb)

4. Install the power steering pipes onto the right side intake manifold protector.
  Tightening torque:
  
  13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.4 ft-lb)

Install the generator. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Generator. >
Install the air intake duct, air cleaner case and air intake chamber. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Duct. > < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Cleaner Case. > < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Chamber. >
Connect the connector to fuel pump relay.
Connect the battery ground cable to battery.
