Please be aware that if you encounter a P0171 on some early 2005 Legacy and Outback N/A models, there have been a few documented cases of the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line not being installed at the factory during engine assembly. SIA has implemented an assembly line inspection as of 12/9/04 for this matter.
