Select Lever: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Shift the select lever to "N" range.
Lift-up the vehicle.
Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
- SOHC model

- DOHC turbo model
  < Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe.> < Ref. to REMOVAL , Muffler. >
- DOHC 3.0 L model
  < Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe.> < Ref. to REMOVAL , Muffler. >
Remove the heat shield cover.

Remove the cable from arm assembly.

Raise the pawl of clamp to remove the cable.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the console box. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Console Box. >
Remove the center console. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Center Console. >
Remove the harness clips from bracket.

Disconnect the connectors, and then remove the four bolts to take out the select lever assembly from vehicle body.
