Fuel Pump: Removal

WARNING: Place "NO FIRE" signs near the working area.

CAUTION: Be careful not to spill fuel.

NOTE: Fuel pump assembly consists of fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel level sensor.

Release the fuel pressure. <Ref. to RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE , Procedure, Fuel .>
Drain fuel. <Ref. to DRAINING FUEL , Procedure, Fuel .>
Remove the second seat. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Second-Row Seats .>
Remove the service hole cover.

Disconnect the connector from fuel pump.

Disconnect the quick connector, and then disconnect the fuel delivery hose and jet pump hose. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Fuel Delivery & Evaporation Lines .>
Remove the nuts which install fuel pump assembly onto fuel tank.

Remove the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank.
