Fuel Sub Level Sensor: Removal
WARNING:
Place "NO OPEN FLAMES" signs near the working area.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to spill fuel.
- Before starting work, be sure to reduce fuel in the fuel tank to 3/4 of the tank or less. If there is more fuel in the tank, fuel may spill out.
- Drain fuel. <Ref. to , DRAINING FUEL, PROCEDURE, FUEL . >
- Remove the rear seat.
- Remove the service hole cover.
- Remove bolt (A).
- Push the grommet (B) down and remove the service hole cover.
- Disconnect the connector from the fuel sub level sensor.
- Disconnect the quick connector, then disconnect the fuel delivery hose, return hose and jet pump hose. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Fuel Delivery, Return and Evaporation Lines .>
- Remove the nuts and bolts which install fuel sub level sensor on fuel tank.
- Remove the fuel sub level sensor.
