SERVICE INFORMATION

At times, you may encounter a rough idle condition following WVU-31 reprogramming. During the reprogramming process, learned memory is erased. As such, reinitialization of idle compensation will need to take place. Allowing the vehicle to idle for 5-10 minutes (depending upon ambient temperature and conditions) with air conditioner OFF will return idle stability to a satisfactory level. No other intervention is recommended.
