Throttle Body: Removal
- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Remove the collector cover.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain approximately 3.0 fi (3.2 US qt, 2.6 lmp qt) of coolant. Refer to
DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT

- Remove the intercooler. Refer to
REMOVAL
, Intercooler.
- Disconnect the connectors from the throttle position sensor.

- Remove the bolts which secure the air bypass pipe and PCV pipe to the intake manifold, and loosen the clamp which connects the throttle body and duct.

- Remove the duct from the throttle body.
- Disconnect the engine coolant hoses from the throttle body.

- Remove the bolts which secure the throttle body to the intake manifold, and remove the throttle body.
