Fuel Sub Level Sensor: Removal
WARNING:
Place "NO OPEN FLAMES" signs near the working area.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to spill fuel.
- When the fuel gauge pointer is at two third or more, the fuel may spill out. Be sure to drain the fuel before the operation.
- Release the fuel pressure. Ref. to RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE , PROCEDURE, Fuel.
- Drain fuel. Ref. to DRAINING FUEL (WITH SUBARU SELECT MONITOR) , PROCEDURE, Fuel.
- Remove the second row seats. Ref. to REMOVAL , Second Seat.
- Remove the service hole cover.
- Disconnect the connector from the fuel sub level sensor.
- Disconnect the quick connector, and then disconnect the fuel delivery hose and jet pump hose. Ref. to REMOVAL , Fuel Delivery & Evaporation Lines.
- Remove the nuts and bolts which install fuel sub level sensor on fuel tank.
- Remove the fuel sub level sensor.
