INTRODUCTION

This Service Information bulletin announces a design change to the internal contact portion of the oil pressure switch to increase durability.

SERVICE PROCEDURE/INFORMATION

If the oil pressure indicator lamp in the combination meter does not illuminate when the ignition is switched to the on position, the oil pressure switch may cause the condition. After eliminating other electrical and/or wiring causes first, replace the oil pressure switch with the applicable new part following the procedure in the applicable Service Manual.
