Transmission Mounting System: Removal

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the center exhaust pipe. Refer to CENTER EXHAUST PIPE EX(H4SO)-7, REMOVAL, Center Exhaust Pipe.
Remove the heat shield cover.

Set the transmission jack under the transmission. Make sure that the support plate of transmission jack does not touch the oil pan.
Remove the transmission rear crossmember.

Remove the rear cushion rubber.
