Transmission Case: Removal

- Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to , REMOVAL , Automatic Transmission Assembly.
- Remove the air breather hose. Refer to , REMOVAL , Air Breather Hose.
- Remove the transmission harness. Refer to , REMOVAL , Transmission Harness.
- Remove the secondary speed sensor. Refer to , REMOVAL , Secondary Speed Sensor.
- Remove the inhibitor switch. Refer to , REMOVAL , Inhibitor Switch.
- Remove the extension case. Refer to , REMOVAL , Extension Case.
- Remove the rear drive shaft. Refer to , REMOVAL , Rear Drive Shaft.
- Remove the transfer clutch assembly. Refer to , REMOVAL , Transfer Clutch.
- Remove the transfer reduction driven gear assembly. Refer to , REMOVAL , Transfer Reduction Driven Gear.
- Remove the intermediate case. Refer to , REMOVAL , Intermediate Case.
- Remove the forward clutch assembly. Refer to , REMOVAL , Forward Clutch Assembly.
- Remove the reduction driven gear. Refer to , REMOVAL , Reduction Driven Gear.
- Remove the oil pan and control valve body. Refer to
, REMOVAL , Control Valve Body.NOTE: When removing the control valve body, also remove the pressure pipe If it is attached on the case.
- Remove the CVTF pipe using a tire lever etc.NOTE: Remove by hooking the stepped portion of CVTF pipe with a tire lever etc.
- Remove the transmission case.NOTE: The total number of transmission case mounting bolts is 15.
- Remove the O-ring of lubrication pipe.
- Remove the control device system. Refer to , REMOVAL , Transmission Control Device.
