Center Differential Carrier: Assembly

Install the thrust bearing onto intermediate shaft.
Insert the intermediate shaft into the center differential assembly.
Install the pinion gears and washers.
Insert the shaft into the center differential assembly.
NOTE: Insert the pinion shaft with the plug end toward the front (gear side), and adjust its position so that the cutout portion on the near side is on the inner side.

Install the snap ring.
Using a press, install a new ball bearing into the center differential assembly.
ST 498077000 REMOVER

Apply vaseline onto the seal ring outer surface and shaft grooves.
Install a new seal ring.
