Customize Function

  1. Customize using the SSM3
    1. The following procedure can be used to check or set customization.
      1. Connect the SSM3 to the DLC3 and turn the ignition to IG ON.
      2. On the [Main Menu] screen, select [Each System Check].
      3. On the [System Selection Menu] screen, select [Integ. unit mode].
      4. Click the [OK] button after the control name (integrated unit) is displayed.
      5. On the [Integ. unit mode failure diag.] screen, select [Unit customizing].
      6. Use the up and down keys to select each item and apply customization settings.

      [I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock] support Settings so that when the interior lamp is set to "DOOR", the interior lamp automatically turns on when the smart key or mechanical key is used to unlock the door support/no support
      [Room Light when Aprchd] support Settings for the function that enables the interior lamp to turn on when you approach the vehicle while holding the smart key support/no support
      [Interior Light Control] support Settings for the function where the interior lamp turns on by the timer support/no support
      [Security System] no support Auto alarm system function settings support/no support
      [Keyless Control] Yes Settings for the function that allows you to select to lock the door via operation of the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly (Electronic key) Yes or NO
      [Wireless Buzzer Resp] ON Wireless door lock buzzer response OFF or ON
      [Hazard Answer Back] ON When the wireless lock switch of the transmitter is pressed, all hazard warning lights are illuminated simultaneously. All hazard warning lights illuminate twice when the unlock switch is pressed. OFF or ON
      [Open Door Warning] ON The buzzer sounds when the lock is pressed while any door is open. OFF or ON
      [Unloocking operation] Yes Settings for the function where all doors are unlocked when the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly (Electronic key) is operated twice Yes or NO
      [Panic Alarm Function] ON Function to activate the anti-theft system when the panic switch of the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is held down for 1.5 second or more. OFF or ON
      [Wireless Auto Lock] ON This function turns the wireless auto lock to ON or OFF. OFF or ON
      [Auto Lock Time] 60 s This function controls the time from when all the doors are unlocked to when the auto lock is activated. 30 s, 60 s, 120 s
      [Trunk lid unlocking operation] Long press(short) Settings for the method of operation when opening the trunk with the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly (Electronic key) single press/2 times ON/Long press(short)/Long press(long)

      [Initialization of function setting] - Customize function initialization -
      (1) Higher value means the light illuminates easily.
      (2) Only displayed in the U.S. model.
      (3) Rear defogger operation turns OFF after 15 minutes.
      (4) Rear defogger operation repeats on a 2 minutes OFF, 15 minutes ON pattern.
      NOTE:
      • The above settings are to be matched to particular vehicle equipment specifications.
      • Do not change any other settings other than the above items when performing function configuration.
      • Confirm that the main body ECM (Network gateway computer) registration content [Factory initial setting] is for the correct market. When it is in factory mode, this means that the settings have not been confirmed.
