Fuel pump check

Resistance check

Measure the resistance between the terminals.

Inspection terminals	Inspection conditions	Standard value
3 - 4	20°C {68°F}	0.2 to 3.0 Ω

Operation check
1. Apply the battery voltage between the terminals and check the motor operation.
  CAUTION:
  - Drain the fuel completely.
  - Perform the check in a short period of time (10 sec. or less).
  - Place the fuel pump as far apart as possible from the battery.
