Circuit description: Notes
The high pressure fuel pump is installed on the cylinder head cover with insulator, and driven by the cam on the intake side camshaft (bank 2). In this pump, a solenoid valve is used in the suction side, and a mechanical automatic valve is used in the discharge side. The suction side solenoid valve is duty cycled by the engine control computer to control the discharge rate.
