Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (Fa20): Removal

  1. Disconnection of the battery ground terminal (Refer to WORKING PRECAUTIONS AND NOTES )
  2. Draining of coolant (SUBARU Super Coolant) (Refer to COOLANT (FA20) )
  3. Removal of intake manifold (Refer to DISASSEMBLY )
  4. Removal of engine water temperature sensor
    1. Disconnect the connector for engine water temperature sensor.

    2. Remove the engine water temperature sensor and gasket.
