Monitor Description: Notes

The ECM perform OBD II monitoring based on the intake are temperature sensor value. If the sensor value does not vary within the normal range, the ECM cannot perform OBD II monitoring or misdiagnoses the condition as sensor's internal failure. When the ECM finds no changes in the intake air temperature sensor value by performing the monitoring after the ignition is turned ON or the engine is started, this condition will be detected (after short or long period of time).
