Select Lever: Removal

Shift the select lever to "N" range.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
NOTE: For the 12 volt engine restart battery of HEV model, disconnect the ground terminal from 12V engine restart battery sensor.
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the center exhaust pipe. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Center Exhaust Pipe. >
Remove the center exhaust cover.

Disconnect the cable from the arm COMPL.

Raise the claw of clamp and remove the cable.

Lower the vehicle.
Shift the select lever to "N" range.
Lower the boot assembly vertically toward the lever. (Model with boot shifter)

Lower the cover grip AT vertically toward the lever. (Model with gate shifter)

Remove the clamp grip pin.

Remove the grip assembly.

Remove the console box. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Console Box. >
Remove the cover - shift lever. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Console Box. >
Disconnect the connector, and remove the indicator cover from the housing. (Model with gate shifter)

Remove the housing with the blind A and blind B. (Model with gate shifter)

Remove the blind A from the housing. (Model with gate shifter)

Remove the panel center LWR LH and RH. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Console Box. >
Disconnect the connector, and remove the indicator assembly. (Model with boot shifter)

Remove the harness clip from the select lever assembly.

Disconnect the harness connector.

Remove the four bolts to remove the select lever assembly.
