Check Accelerator Pedal Sensor Area (Method With Circuit Tester)

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
Remove the ECM. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Engine Control Module (ECM). > < Ref. to REMOVAL , Engine Control Module (ECM). >
Install the ST between the ECM and bulkhead harness and the engine harness. < Ref. to CAUTION , General Description. > < Ref. to CAUTION , General Description. >

Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
Turn the ignition switch to ON. (Engine OFF)

Measure the voltage between ECM connector terminals using ST.
