Check Accelerator Pedal Sensor Area (Method With Circuit Tester)

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
Remove the ECM. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Engine Control Module (ECM). >
Install the ST between the ECM and bulkhead harness and the engine harness. < Ref. to CAUTION , General Description. >

Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
Turn the ignition switch to ON. (Engine OFF)

Measure the voltage between ECM connector terminals using ST.

Sub	Depressed (full opened)	29 (+) and 19 (-)	2.4 - 3.7 V

After inspection, install the related parts in the reverse order of removal.
