Operating Cylinder: Removal

CAUTION: Brake fluid spilled on the vehicle body will harm the paint surface; therefore, wash it off with water and wipe clean quickly if spilled.

Disconnect the ground cable from battery. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
NOTE: For models other than STI model, disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
Remove the collector cover. (Except for STI model) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Collector Cover. >
Remove the intercooler. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler. > < Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler. >
Remove the starter. (STI model) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Starter. >
Disconnect the clutch hose.
CAUTION:
- Cover the hose joint to prevent the brake fluid from flowing out.
- Do not loosen or remove the cap bolts.

Remove the operating cylinder.
